Thunderlance Mk XIV

The Clockwork armies of the Ivory Tower and its endless array of Mechanoid soldiers maintain order across all of Midgard. Faced with magical monsters and rogue gods humanity always sits on the precipice of destruction. Now with the great hordes of the Abyss gathering and the floodgates of heaven preparing for what could be the final battle, only the might of the Ivory Tower and it’s mechanical regiments stands between humanity and its total annihilation.

Faced with dangers such as these the scholars and magi of the mighty Tower have scrambled to devise new and more effective means to stem the tide of dragons and demons that threaten to spill into Midgard and bring darkness across the entirety of the Central Plane. And the end result of this research is one of the Archmagus Tesla’s finest designed weapons. The Mk XIV Thunderlance.

This weapon utilizes heavy electromagical canister shells that amplify and belch forth a massive blast of Enchanted Plasma that can burn through any armor and atomize even the most heavily shielded magical monsters. The sheer violence of its eruption of magical deathdealing might comes with a monstrous thundering roar that can deafen opponents and leave enemies stunned and bewildered even when not struck directly by its powerful impact.

However such power comes at a cost. These weapons are extremely difficult to manufacture and almost as difficult to operate and maintain. However this does not prevent the great factories of the archmagus Tesla’s mighty foundry from manufacturing these war machines by the thousands. And these weapons are then supplied to only the most elite of the Clockwork regiments and to the powerful Lawgiver Mechanoids that maintain the peace across the Realms.

Being so integral to the defense of Midgard these weapons are highly prized and coveted, and are extremely rare to find on the open market. However any hero fortunate enough to find one of these weapons will find that there is no substitute for the sheer destructive firepower of the Thunderlance.
