Across the Astral Realms, knowledge is power. And in fact the largest and most powerful of the great Arcana is the Ivory Tower, an organization built primarily of universities libraries and scholars.

And one of the greatest and most ubiquitous inventions of the tower-magi is the Einstein-Jobs technomantic knowledge cloud repository, also called a spellbook.

These times are no ordinary books. Each is enchanted with a cloud access enchantment which fills each page with spells and knowledge relevant to each individual user. And a beautiful handcrafted magical interface binding allows rapid transfer of that knowledge directly into the user’s short term memory.

This allows scholars and magic the world over to increase their memorized spell capacity and even be able to cast spells and abilities they would ordinarily not be able to. This makes the spellbook one of the most powerful and important items in any would be adventurer’s kit.

As with any University built equipment, these items come in several varieties and price ranges. And as usual, quality doesn’t come cheap. Finding the right spellbook at the right price is a challenge that many heroes spend years trying to accomplish.
